John began his career with Xerox and IBM before he transitioned into the commercial real estate business with CB Richard Ellis. John was one of CB Richard Ellis’s top national performers and subsequently founded Blair Hayes Commercial in Santa Barbara (now operating as Hayes Commercial).

John was instrumental in the leasing and sale of many large projects on the Central Coast and developed excellent knowledge of the local market dynamics.

John then pursued a career in data and technology where he became the CEO of Automotive Lease Guide and led the company’s rapid growth that resulted in the formation of webalg and an eventual merger with Dealertrack that led to a successful IPO (NASDAQ: TRAK). John was responsible for managing 3 companies within Dealertrack and was one of 3 company presidents. John retired from ALG-Dealertrack in 2008 and returned to commercial real estate as a principal resulting in the formation of Presidio Capital Partners with Andrew Fuller. John is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Economics.

John and his wife have raised their 3 children in Santa Barbara and have enjoyed being a part of the local community for the past 35 years.
